As an organisation, Leicester Partnership Trust recognises the important of work life balance, achieved through flexibility.We have a 37.5 hour vacancy, this is a mobile position, therefore it is essential that you can drive and have access to a vehicle that can be used for work purposes as this role is mobile across our sites, business mileage will be paid in addition to salary and business insurance for your vehicle is essential for this role. 2 week rota; week 1, working 8.30am to 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays & Sundays / week 2, working 8am to 8pm on Wednesday's, Thursday's and Friday's.As a Rapid Response Mobile Domestic Assistant you will provide an effective, patient-focused Facilities Service (FM) in the delivery of cleaning and deep cleaning across our sites.Applicants are asked to bring their photo ID and right to work including proof of address to their interviews.Please note in cases where a high volume of applications are received for a post, the closing date may be brought forward. Main duties of the jobWe pride ourselves on the high standards throughout our services. You will be a valued member of the Soft FM Team and will be respected for the work you do.All roles will provide a range of duties across our Trust sites and support services to ensure a safe, efficient and effective service to all patients, staff and visitors is delivered.Rapid Response Mobile Domestic Assistant DutiesTo clean to prescribed work schedules and rotas for designated areas, as specifiedTo adhere to written procedures for check cleaning, damp dusting, damp mopping, full cleaning, periodic cleaning, spray cleaning and steam cleaningTo adhere to the Trust colour coding system to prevent contaminationTo use cleaning equipment within designated areas in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act 1974To ensure the correct economical use of materials and equipment, seeking advice from the Facilities Supervisor when in doubtTo handle waste (including clinical and infected) in compliance with Trust policies and proceduresTo ensure the safe storage of all equipment and materialsTo report to the Facilities Supervisor any mechanical defects, any equipment in need of repair and any mishaps or untoward incidentsTo conform to the requirements for the cleaning of body fluid spillages in non-patient areas and implement as required, Following the Infection Control PolicyThis role will require the individual to rotate between their responsibilities as required.
