Job overviewThis is an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Scientist or Audiologist to join our audiology team supporting patients across East Sussex as a Band 7 Clinical Lead, specialising in adult audiology services. You will be someone who is experienced in delivering high standards of care for adult patients in complex and non-complex pathways and keen to develop their leadership skills and inspire the service to provide excellent care. This is a role for someone who enjoys being part of service development and change, improving the lives of our patients across East Sussex. You will have sufficient post qualification clinical experience to enable you to effectively deliver and provide the clinical leadership required to enable the team maintain quality and activity performance. You will be part of the senior leadership team within the audiology service. Whilst you may not have experience in a leadership role, you will understand the principles of good leadership and operational management and be willing to develop those skills.You will have experience of delivering clinical audit, service evaluation and the ability to share learning and imbed change. You will have a working knowledge of BSA and BAA guidance and work with the team to imbed evidence based practice within the day to day work. You will also be able to support the lead team to maintain our paediatric UKAS IQIPs registration and achieve UKAS IQIPs accreditation for our adult services.You will be either a Clinical Scientist or audiologist able to complete the Clinical Scientist equivalency pathway.This role is base at our Park Practice base in Eastbourne, however we provide services across all of East Sussex, so some cross site travel is required.
