Salary: C1, Scale points 12 - 17 (£27,711 - £30,060 pa)
Hours: Hours per week to be discussed at interview, full or part-time options available, Term time only
Contract: Permanent
Location: Sharp Lane Primary School

This is an exciting opportunity for an Attendance Officer to join our friendly, caring school and work alongside our dynamic and successful pastoral team. This position would be ideal for an experienced Attendance Officer or someone with experience working in a pastoral role.

The successful candidate will be hard working, flexible and will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive school, whose goal is to secure the best possible outcomes for students. This role could be part time, 8.30am-12pm, full time or flexible, with the afternoon spent working with the pastoral team supporting families.

The role will involve:
  • Managing and recording pupil attendance.
  • Working with the pastoral team to improve attendance.
  • Building relationships with families to support and improve attendance, including home visits.
  • Liaising with senior leaders to meet deadlines.
