The students, staff and governors at The John Frost School are looking for an inspirational, forward-thinking senior leader with proven whole school experience of pastoral leadership to join us as an Assistant Headteacher. The successful candidate will inspire and support an enthusiastic team, be an excellent and innovative teacher, communicate well with all stakeholders and play an active part in our community centered school. The Assistant Headteacher we appoint will have responsibility for behaviour for learning and lead the pastoral team.

We are looking for somebody who has:
- experience of effective leadership
- experience of leading and motivating a team to achieve high standards and positive outcomes
- a proven record of working alongside senior school leader - being an excellent team member
- experience of day-to-day management of a school
- resilience and is able to demonstrate flexibility and drive
- developed highly effective leadership skills
- a proven ability to lead, challenge and empower children and colleagues
- an ability to embrace community partnerships and play an active role in fostering good links with parents
