Nottinghamshire County Council is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join us as
Business Administration Apprentices. This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world experience while working towards either a
Level 2 Administration Assistant Apprenticeship or a
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
Several apprenticeship roles are currently available in teams based in the following areas: West Bridgford, Hucknall, Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield/Ollerton.
We're offering exciting Business Administration Level 2 and Level 3 Apprenticeships for people who meet one of these criteria: - Receiving employment support
- Care experienced young person
- Have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or SEND
Apprentices are placed across a variety of Council services, providing administrative support to teams that help deliver vital services. You'll gain experience, develop workplace skills and make a genuine contribution from day one while being supported with structured training, dedicated learning time and guidance from colleagues.
While every placement is different, you could be involved in: - Communicating with customers, colleagues and partners by phone and email
- Organising meetings and supporting diary management
- Providing administrative support that helps services run efficiently

Qualifications: Ideally, you have GCSEs in English and Math (Level 2) or can achieve them during the apprenticeship
*Please note this is a fixed term post. For candidates completing Administration Assistant Level 2 the contract duration is 12 months - for candidates completing Business Administrator Level 3 the contract duration is 18 months.
