ROLE DESCRIPTION

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Apprenticeship Operations team at Newcastle College. We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and driven individual to join us as an Apprenticeship Income, Audit & Compliance Manager on a fixed term, maternity cover basis.

Summary of the main purpose of role:

• To lead and oversee all aspects of apprenticeship audit, compliance, income management, and data quality across Newcastle College.
• To ensure apprenticeship provision remains fully compliant with DfE funding rules and NCG standards while supporting audit readiness and continuous improvement.
• To provide expert advice and guidance on apprenticeship funding, compliance, and reporting to colleagues across the apprenticeship journey.
• To lead and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of quality, accountability, and service excellence.

• A confident communicator with the ability to provide expert guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Someone passionate about quality, continuous improvement, and delivering an exceptional apprenticeship experience.
