This advert is open to Experienced and Newly Qalified Social Worker's (NQSW). The starting salary for a NQSW is £36,14 per annm, rising to £38,487 per annm pon sccessfl completion of the ASYE programme.

Or Social Workers work alongside people and their families and carers to help them think throgh what might help them get on with their lives in the way that works best for them. We do this within the framework of or stattory Care Act reqirements. This means many of or conversations are framed as 'assessments', 'reviews', 'spport planning' and 'safegarding'. Bt or aim is always to listen and nderstand what matters to the person and then to work with them to think throgh how this might be achieved.

Or teams are prod to offer hybrid working, with an expectation to be office based at or office in Clacton arond to 3 days per week depending on bsiness need for collaborative team working and training.

Abot the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Worker to join or Tendring Neighborhood Team. This is an exciting opportnity to be part of a locality based, strengths focsed service that spports adlts to remain independent, safe, and connected within their commnities.

The teams work with people aged 18 and above across all specialisms, ndertaking a wide range of dties nder the Care Act 14 from assessment, reviews, mental capacity assessments and adlt safegarding.

As a Social Worker in or Neighborhood Team, yo will:

ndertake Care Act-compliant assessments, reviews, and spport planning.

Work with adlts with a range of needs, inclding older people, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and safegarding concerns.

Apply strengths-based and person-centred approaches to promote independence and wellbeing.

Participate in safegarding enqiries in line with Section 4 of the Care Act

Work collaboratively with health colleages, volntary sector partners, and wider MDTs.

Manage a varied caseload while maintaining professional standards and high-qality practice.

Abot Yo

We are looking for someone who:

Is a qalified Social Worker with crrent Social Work England registration.

Has a sond nderstanding of the Care Act 14, Mental Capacity Act, and safegarding practice.

Demonstrates strong assessment, risk management, and decision-making skills

Is confident working atonomosly while contribting positively to a spportive team cltre.

Is committed to reflective practice, learning, and continos professional development.

Has experience of chairing meetings.

Is able to develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local commnity.

Or Social Worker roles involve travelling arond Essex. A driving licence and car - or the ability to meet the mobility reqirements of the role throgh other means - is essential.
