This advert is open to Experienced and Newly Qalified Social Worker's (NQSW). The starting salary for a NQSW is £36,14 per annm, rising to £38,487 per annm pon sccessfl completion of the ASYE programme.

Or Social Workers work alongside people and their families and carers to help them think throgh what might help them get on with their lives in the way that works best for them. We do this within the framework of or stattory Care Act reqirements. This means many of or conversations are framed as 'assessments', 'reviews', 'spport planning' and 'safegarding'. Bt or aim is always to listen and nderstand what matters to the person and then to work with them to think throgh how this might be achieved.

Abot the Team

We are looking for passionate and proactive Social Workers to join or West Essex Neighborhood teams. Opportnities are crrently available in the Harlow North and Soth Neighborhood team and the Epping Forest North Neighborhood team.

The teams form part of a Neighborhood approach, linking closely with or partners in health, hosing and volntary sector. Relationships, partnership working and commnity connections are at the heart of everything we do.

Working with people aged 18 and above across all specialisms, the role will involve ndertaking a wide range of dties nder the Care Act 14 from assessment, reviews, mental capacity assessments and adlt safegarding.

This role offers hybrid working, with an expectation to be office based at Goodman Hose in Harlow arond to 3 days per week depending on bsiness need for collaborative team working and training.

Yo may have experience of chairing meetings, and yo'll have an ability to develop strong relationships with partner agencies and the local commnity to provide a spportive framework.

Or Social Worker roles involve travelling arond Essex. A driving licence and car - or the ability to meet the mobility reqirements of the role throgh other means - is essential.
