Person specificationQualifications Essential criteria - Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
- Evidence of recent further development / training to NVQ 3 level.
Desirable criteria - IT qualification or equivalent.
Skills and knowledge Essential criteria - Able to deal confidently and professionally with all members of the MDT including patients and their families, resolving queries and progress chasing
- Ability to analyse information to resolve problems
- Good organisational skills.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Well-developed negotiating and motivating skills.
- Experience of servicing meetings and taking minutes.
- Ability to utilise a range of IT programmes, including Microsoft Office Suite including knowledge of Microsoft Access and PowerPoint.
Desirable criteria - Knowledge of the Health Service
- Knowledge of Patient Administration systems e.g. EMIS/HIVE.
Experience Essential criteria - Demonstrable experience of working within and office environment
Desirable criteria - Experience of working with the NHS in a support role.
Personal attributes/abilities Essential criteria - Ability to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
- Adaptable with a flexible approach to work and working hours.
- Good customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexibly at various locations in the service.
- Ability to travel between various locations in the community.
