We are recruiting an Administrative Officerat Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 37 hours
Contract Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Until 18.10.2027
Location: Tŷ Penallta / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

We pay an attractive salary of £28,608 - £30,023and offer access to training and development opportunities. As an Administrative Officer within Caerphilly Homes, you will provide efficient, customer-focused administrative, technical and financial support across a range of housing services.
Acting as a first point of contact, you will respond to enquiries, support customers who may be vulnerable, process applications and referrals, and liaise with colleagues, contractors and partner organisations. You will maintain accurate records, manage information and finance systems, coordinate appointments and meetings, and contribute to service improvement.
This varied role requires excellent customer care, communication, organisational and IT skills, together with accuracy, flexibility and the ability to manage competing priorities.
For the role, we ask that you have: - A relevant Level 2 qualification/s on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example, NVQ2 Administration, GCSEs Grade A*-C.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communicating effectively with customers and colleagues both verbally and in writing, demonstrating a caring and customer focused approach.
- Experience of providing administrative support, including data entry and file management.
