Join us in our Admin Team to help support Looked After Children and their Foster Carers, through our Emotional Wellbeing Services.

This role is for an Administrative Assistant across 3 sister services - Moving On 2Gether (Halton), Cared for Children's Emotional Wellbeing Service (Knowsley) and Foster Well (North West region). All three services are dedicated to providing therapeutic support to fostering placements, working directly with the children, young people and families. We work flexibly to meet the needs of the service users, in partnership with staff from social care, health, schools and other agencies in the best interests of those we support. The Administration Team support our Therapists, Mental Health Practitioners and Team Managers to deliver these services, playing a critical role in ensuring that the families can access support when they need it.

In your role as Administrative Assistant, we would expect you to be able to demonstrate the following essential skills:
  • - Advanced digital systems proficiency across a range of platforms (such as SUR databases, all Microsoft 365 applications, basic graphic design platforms, cloud-based document storage, 3rd party portals)
  • - Self-motivation and coordination, managing priorities across services
  • - Both independent & collaborative working
  • - Keen attention to detail
  • - Positive attitude, professional communication and manner
  • - Strong understanding of GDPR and confidentiality
  • - Emotional resilience - this role will include processing referrals which include sensitive information
  • - Adaptability within a busy & changing environment

The following attributes, though not essential to the role, are desirable:
  • - Experience in health & safety compliance monitoring
  • - Experience in meeting preparation, facilitation and minute-taking
  • - Experience of working within hybrid teams, and/or multiple locations
  • - Experience within the Mental Health and/or Social Care sectors
  • - Experience of working within a charity
  • - Confidence and experience using the following digital systems: MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint, Dynamics 365, Forms, Bookings, Yarooms; IAPTUS; Canva

This role is part time: 21.75 hours per week, with an office base in St Helen's town centre. The working pattern will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate. This role would be able to be worked within school hours, however is year-round.
