We are recruiting an Administrative and Finance Officer at Caerphilly County Borough Council.Working hours: 37
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Tir-Y-Berth Depot
Team: Waste Strategy and Operations - Building Cleaning
This position offers an excellent opportunity to become part of our team and provide support across the organisation.
We pay an attractive salary of £30,515 - £32,046 and offer access to training and development opportunities. We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to oversee the day-to-day management of our administrative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient income collection processes, supporting performance management activities, and maintaining high standards of financial compliance across the service.
The role also involves contract administration, monitoring and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and producing accurate business reports to support operational decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership, organisational, and analytical skills who is looking to make a positive impact within a dynamic environment.
For the role, we ask that you have: - A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales.
- Suitable experience of administration for a multi-site operation.
- The ability to travel across the county Borough and further afield as required.
