Part Time / 15 Hours Per Week / Permanent
We're the heart of the council, providing vital support to the Revenues & Customer Support Service, so they can function effectively. This is a permanent role working 15 hours on Monday and Tuesday.
What you'll be doing As an Admin and Business Support Officer you'll ensure the service runs smoothly by opening and scanning customer post and electronically filing all correspondence in a timely manner. You will communicate effectively with customers as required both by email and on the telephone. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate electronic filing systems to ensure all records are up-to-date and remain confidential and work well as part of a small team.
What you'll need You'll have some experience of carrying out administration tasks and have a good understanding of the importance of customer care and confidentiality. Using good verbal and written communication skills, you'll provide excellent customer service when corresponding with customers and other members of staff. You'll have proficient IT skills to carry out general administrative tasks, maintain records and databases and update spreadsheets. Working with speed, accuracy, and high attention to detail, you will deliver a high-quality frontline service.
