D365 Business Analyst

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our client on a 6 month initial contract. Working across business and technology teams, you will help define requirements, improve processes, and contribute to the successful delivery of platform enhancements and strategic change programmes. This role requires a strong understanding of customer-facing technologies, business process analysis, and enterprise application delivery, with particular experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments. Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with stakeholders to understand business challenges, objectives, and opportunities for improvement.Conduct workshops, interviews, and discovery sessions to capture and validate requirements.Analyse current and future-state business processes and identify efficiencies, risks, and dependencies.Produce high-quality documentation including requirements, user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.Support the development of business cases and benefits assessments for proposed solutions.Work collaboratively with delivery teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented.Assist with backlog refinement, prioritisation, and sprint planning activities.Assess impacts across systems, data flows, and operational processes.Ensure solutions align with organisational governance, security, compliance, and data management standards.Support testing, change readiness, and stakeholder adoption activities where required.Experience & Skills EssentialProven Business Analysis experience gained within technology-enabled change programmes.Strong background in requirements elicitation, business process analysis, and stakeholder management.Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related customer or operational business applications.Understanding of CRM platforms and how they support customer engagement, service delivery, and operational processes.Experience producing clear and comprehensive analysis artefacts for both business and technical audiences.Experience working within Agile or iterative delivery environments.Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels.Ability to operate effectively in environments where priorities and requirements may evolve.DesirableExperience working with enterprise Microsoft technologies, including Power Platform capabilities.Exposure to systems integration, data migration, or API-led delivery initiatives.Understanding of data governance, information management, and regulatory considerations.Experience supporting automation, workflow optimisation, or AI-enabled business solutions.Experience working within complex or regulated organisations.
