• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), adapting teaching strategies to suit their individual learning styles.
• Support students with a range of additional needs, which may include autism spectrum condition (ASC), ADHD, learning difficulties, communication needs, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
• Develop and implement individual learning plans in line with students' Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), where applicable, and the school's SEN policies.
• Monitor, assess, and record students' progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting learning activities to support their academic and personal development.
• Use a range of teaching methods, resources, and practical activities to encourage engagement, improve concentration, and promote independent learning.
• Support students' communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and confidence, using appropriate strategies to help them access learning successfully.

Requirements
• The ability to plan and deliver personalised learning activities that support students' academic progress, emotional well-being, and independence.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to develop positive and trusting relationships with students.
• A patient, empathetic, flexible, and proactive approach, with the ability to respond effectively to individual learning and behavioural needs.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures, with a commitment to promoting students' safety and well-being.

Why Apply?
