In the UK and internationally, we provide essential support for critical nuclear services, but don’t be deterred by the term ‘nuclear’—specialist qualifications aren’t required to join our team. You’ll gain the necessary expertise through hands-on experience, backed by a supportive and inclusive work environment.

We deeply value military culture and are proud of our long-standing relationship with the military in the United States. As we expand our presence in the UK, we welcome veterans into our ranks. Armed Forces Covenant

In 2022 Amentum UK signed the Armed Forces Covenant, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the covenant’s principles. In June 2023 Amentum was proud to announce that the organisation had achieved the Employer Recognition Scheme Bronze Certificate. 

Globally nearly a third of Amentum’s workforce is made up of Veterans who have served in the Armed Forces. We know that the teamwork, discipline and leadership skills developed through military service benefit both our company and our customers, which is why Amentum is rated as #1 Military Friendly Company in the US.

The Veteran network aids in the transition, development, and growth of our employees, by building on the skills, values and unique background of current and former military service members. Expanding on the vital contributions of our Veteran’s supports the success of Amentum’s mission. We aim to foster an environment of camaraderie, collaboration, and retention by embracing our veteran’s shared experiences, identifying career and professional development opportunities, mentoring, and assisting with veteran recruiting.
