Eversheds Sutherland Parents Network

Following a successful pilot, the firms Gender Working Party this year launched the Eversheds Parents Network. This initiative is aimed at men and women who are thinking about becoming parents to meet, discuss and share some of the challenges that juggling work and family life brings.

Ability – Eversheds Sutherland

Eversheds Sutherland has a staff network focussing on disability and wellbeing matters across the firm.

The network is made up of staff who identify as disabled as well as those with an active interest in this important area of the firm’s Diversity strategy.

The group meets quarterly by telecon to enable all members to participate in discussion around the firm's activity and to share ideas and support one another.

A key aim of Ability is ensuring our employees' wellbeing is valued and that where adjustments are required they are carried out smoothly to enable employees who need extra assistance or facilities to access their working environment easily.

In addition Ability represents the firm externally engaging with projects and events focussing on disability in the work place.

We have founded the Inter-Law Disability Network which is gaining momentum with a view to sharing our experience and best practice with other firms and to gain from their experiences to develop ourselves as a firm.

Eversheds Sutherland Christian Network

The firm has recently seen the launch of the Eversheds Christian Network. The group meets regularly in the office to pray and encourage each other as they practice their faith in Jesus at work.
