Race Equity Network at British Antarctic Survey

BAS staff and students have access to UKRI’s Racial Inclusion & Striving for Equity (RISE) Network. The network has been set up to form a collaborative platform that supports Black, Asian and other Minority Ethnic colleagues in UKRI to share thoughts, experiences, ideas and solutions and raises awareness to help all of us contribute towards a more inclusive workplace.

BAS is also part of a joint RISE network with the British Geological Survey. The network aims to provide a safe place for participants to support one another by sharing individual experiences, whether at or outside of work, at conferences or meetings, or during field work
