Welcome to VERCIDA website.
Skip to main contentOur Multi-Faith Network currently has 550 members and is open to all colleagues, whether you’re religious, atheist, agnostic or somewhere in-between. It offers an inclusive space for people to expand their understanding and discuss how beliefs can enable us to lead positive and healthy lives.
What do we do?
We connect people in Capita from different faiths and spiritual groups and enable them to have meaningful conversations and work supportively together. Everyone is encouraged to participate and have a voice. We explore different ideas, hold open, sensitive and respectful discussions and actively seek to learn more about others and what they believe in. The network is focused on continuing to grow its committee, so it represents many different faith perspectives. We engage with the wider network to educate and start conversations, including a blog series written by volunteers about topical issues, and interviews between people of different faiths.
Gareth Davies is our current network Chair along with our two Co-chairs, Katie Brookfield and Susan Laing
“I didn’t have a formal religious upbringing but do have faith and beliefs. Religion has started to become a bigger part of my life, with my daughter joining a Catholic high school – and I am really keen to learn more and embrace this.
It’s really with this attitude that I am so happy to be involved – learning about different religions, how important they are to us, and how they guide and shape us. And while I understand that my knowledge and understanding of different faiths is far from complete, I approach this wanting to not only learn more myself, but to help others connect too.”
Gareth Davies, Chair of Multi-faith Network
