LGBT+ Network at CityFibre

The LGBT+ network sponsored by Chris Stening, Consumer Director, was conceived in July 2020 and launched officially on the 12th October 2020.  We are all inclusive, and welcome anyone to join us regardless of how they identify. 

The LGBT+ network are keen that they’re not just a social club for the LGBT+ community and have defined our aims below:

• Identify and responds to matters that impact LGBT+ staff, customers and stakeholders
• Make a positive impact in the work experience of LGBT+ colleagues through increased visibility and collaboration with external and internal stakeholders
• Provide a forum for colleagues to talk confidentially about their work experiences, to support and signpost to other resources if needed
• Celebrate the positive contribution of LGBT+ colleagues, customers and stakeholders

The LGBT+ network is a cross representative group of employees from across CityFibre. You don’t have to identify as LGBT+ to get involved. Everyone is welcome. 

The network will be working to increase visibility within the organisation and will be getting involved with and celebrating a number of events throughout the year.

The LGBT+ network is supported by a small group of volunteers who are committed to making a positive contribution to the lives of LGBT+ colleagues.
