Commitment to those serving, veterans and their families

In 2022, Barclays re-signed the UK Armed Forces Covenant, boosting its commitment to the military community, ensuring those who serve, or have served, are treated fairly. The bank’s commitment to fulfilling this pledge has been recognised through the highest-level Gold Award by the Ministry of Defence’s Employer Recognition Scheme. Military programmes

Barclays’ military programmes support members of the armed forces community to develop the skills they need to transition into civilian life, and gain employment, and are enabling veterans to grow their own businesses.
