Amelia is our ambassador for Youth Friendly Employer. We asked her a few questions on her role in doing this:

CCEP was rated Youth-Friendly Employer of the Year. Can you tell us what CCEP does for young employees in particular? How does that benefit the employees?

"CCEP provides support for young apprentices by partnering then with experienced mentors within the apprentices chosen discipline. Every Young Person that works at CCEP has their well-being put first. We have regular surveys on well-being assessments completed by our managers to ensure that we are happy and if there is any additional support required. We also have a 24/7 hour Mental Health hotline which we can use and have access to free consultation and counselling if we require it. "

You are an ambassador for this, what does this role entail for you? Would you recommend this for other CCEP apprentices?

"My role as a Youth Ambassador is to speak on the behalf of young people and provide a voice on how experiences and well-being can be improved for young people. We make changes to Government Legislation to improve the working, learning and job seeking experience."
