Charity work at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners

We encourage all of our staff to get involved in community initiatives, local charities and volunteering.

This allows you to help make change in something you are passionate about while connecting with your community and making it a better place.

Here are a few of our intitiatives:

Reach Up partnership

CCEP is proud to deliver the Reach Up programme in partnership with the charity UK Youth. The programme aims to empower young people with the confidence, skills and experience needed to feel ready for the workplace.

Our colleagues volunteer their time on the programme, providing unique opportunities for young people. They can journey through interactive experiences, including mock interviews, networking workshops, spending time with our Field Sales team and running their own community café.

Even during the pandemic, the hard work of CCEP associates ensured that we were able to reach 100+ young people in 2020. We delivered a jam-packed programme of online support, and we can’t wait to build connections and inspire more participants in the years to come.

“Amazing - I was overwhelmed by how engaged and eager the young people were. I was also humbled by the change I saw in young people from the first session to the last.”

“Having participated in the programme for the last couple of years I was unsure how the programme would workremotely but I think it was excellent. I'm so pleased that CCEP and UK Youth were able to deliver the programme as young people really need this at the moment.”

“The programme leaves you with a feeling that you are really 'making a difference'”

Charity – Litter campaign

Another one of our passions here at CCEP? Keep our beautiful waterways clean. That’s why our colleagues took part in pirate-themed river clean-ups this summer. Treasure Your River, led by environmental charity Hubbub, is a fantastic initiative we’re supporting. They’ve begun the UK’s largest ever collaborative push to prevent and reduce the amount of litter entering our waterways, aiming to collect 95 tonnes of litter and prevent a further 90 tonnes from entering our rivers.

On one afternoon, our associates had the pleasure of paddle boarding on the River Thames, picking foreign objects ranging from tyres to drinks bottles to car batteries. Doing a social good while having some fun on the river — what could be better than that?

“We had a lot of fun doing something good - everyone’s a winner :)” — Simon Docking, CSR Team Leader

“I feel so privileged to work for an amazing company that give us 2 volunteering days per year that we can use to support our local communities.” — Joe Lawlor, Team Leader

Charity – Support my cause

CCEP associates don’t just make, move and sell the world’s most loved brands — they also inspire us to support their favorite charities.  Here’s how it works: Associates nominate the names of charities and why CCEP should support these important missions. The shortlist goes to an employee vote with the winners getting £10k and the runners-up getting £2.5k.

The most recent winners were:

  • SPACE, the charity for neurodiverse children and their families in Hertfordshire
  • Nottingham Canal & River Trust, which aims to transform their local canal or river, enabling them to create a space that can be appreciated and enjoyed by all ages

The most recent runners-up was:

  • Homeless Project Scotland, which provides 4500 meals for homeless people across Glasgow and surrounding areas each week
  • Trees for Cities, which has a mission to improve lives by planting trees in cities

"I’ve worked closely with the team at Homeless Project Scotland for a number of years and seen first-hand the amazing work they do with some of the most vulnerable people in the city.” — Gary McNair, Process Technician
