PA Housing is an award winning organisation. We have been shortlisted or won many awards in the last year. Here are a few:
Involved resident Diana Charman was Highly Commended in the Woman of the Year category at the Women in Housing awards. Working with local people and our resident involvement and neighbourhood teams, Diana has been one of the key people behind reviving the flagging residents’ committee and improving the estate. She has helped to tackle ways to promote community involvement, open up the community hub, and address antisocial behaviour.
We were shortlisted in two categories at the 24housing Diversity Awards (Leading BME Organisation and Best HR Policy). To be nominated for not one, but two, diversity awards is an accolade in itself, and we are proud to be an organisation striving to be a trailblazer for equality and diversity.
Finalist in the UK Housing 2019 Awards Inclusivity and Diversity Pioneer category.
Our Universal Credit Hub was shortlisted in the Welfare Wise category at 24Housing Awards. The Hub supports tenants through UC claims from the early stages. Guiding them helps ensure they receive all the benefits they are entitled to and prevents distressing eviction cases.
Our tree contractor Treework won the Trees & Development award from the Forestry Commission London Tree and Woodlands Awards, for planting work at a scheme we are involved in at Elephant and Castle.
