What we need from you?
As well as booking yourself onto one or more of the exciting sessions, we need your help to spread the word to friends and colleagues, please follow us at @CityThrive using the #thriveinthecity2017 via Facebook and LinkedIn.
In providing these free sessions, we also ask that every single participant provides us with valued feedback on the session they attended. This will help us collect the valuable data we need, to understand what activities our City workers and residents would value to support their mental wellbeing and to find more opportunities to do this in the future.

Thrive in the City - Our Journey
It almost seem surreal that we all met just 5 months ago, who would of thought after all the ideas, conversations and meetings it would finally happen!  Just goes to show what you can do, when you do it together.
For those of you that have met anyone of the three of us, you will know that Thrive in the City is something we are exceptionally passionate about - creating a physical space in the City which provides choice - which is not all about the 'head in the hands' narrative - is a key aim for the future of TiTC.  So much so, that we have given ourselves the ambitious goal to have such a physical space up and running by January 2019.
Given our ambitious aims, it has never been so important to live by our values:

  • Collaboration
  •  Creating
  •  Inspiring

It goes without saying that we are truly thankful to you for taking this journey with us, and hope that you are able to join us on the 27th November to celebrate mental health and wellness in the City and Canary Wharf.  Grateful doesn't even come close to how we feel about the 75 professionals who are helping use to deliver the events on the day or the 20 venues supporting us by hosting us - ALL FOR FREE.  In addition, the support of Minds@Work, City Mental Health Alliance, Business in the Community, MIND, Dragon Cafe and Business Healthy has been absolutely amazing.  As have the team at Blue Sherif and Absolutely PR, who have worked tirelessly - giving their time once again for free.
We recognise for most 'performance' is key when it comes to working in the City & Canary Wharf - yet, so many people have a huge disconnect between wellbeing and their ability to perform at their very best each day.  Often we dismiss wellbeing activities - yet mental health is the umbrella in which we all sit underneath.  Taking time to learn, to develop, to grow, and to do things which improve your wellbeing is an essential ingredient to living the best life - so please come and try out some of these sessions, they could just turn your life around.
Very much looking forward to seeing those who can make it and thank you for your continued support.
