Immigration & The Impact On Corporate Culture & Inclusion “The need for corporate engagement” Migration is a topic of immense relevance in contemporary life. In 2013, 232 million people worldwide were international migrants, representing a total of 3.2% of the world population (UN,2013). In todays economy, migration plays a vital role. Although businesses are not considered the traditional stakeholders when discussing migration management and integration policy, private companies are increasingly dealing with topics relating to migration and development. At a time when ‘diversity and inclusion’ issues are increasingly personally emotive and political, how are organisational goals affected by very 21st century issues such as immigration. The aim of this conference will be to bridge the gap between business and migration through corporate case studies, expert led panel, workshops & audience driven conversation.
