This workshop will provide you with the skills to use reasonable adjustments to minimise the cost of sickness absence and maximise opportunities for disabled employees.

In this workshop, we will support you in ensuring your attendance management policy does not disadvantage employees who may have higher rates of sickness absence related to a disability. We will help you manage short term, unpredictable sickness absence that may or may not be related to a disability and determine if and when it is appropriate to adjust sickness absence trigger points.

You will learn how to ease the return to work process for colleagues on long term sick leave and ensure return to work meetings and processes are used as effectively as possible.
