Gender Focus

Today was the launch of the HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter 5-year review, which celebrates and discusses the impact of the Charter on signatory firms.  

Our Group CEO Amanda Blanc, who is the UK Government’s Women in Finance Champion, joined HM Treasury and New Financial LLP to talk about the impact the Charter has had on her working life, the impact it’s had on Aviva and what the future looks like.  

Amanda said: “Over the next five years, we need to move from talk to action, from working in isolation to working together and move from a narrow perception of what gender diversity is to encompass women from every walk of life and every part of society.”
