I am a project manager and I am in charge of making sure that we build a section of the track between London and Birmingham. I was born and grew up in Birmingham and moved back here after I went to University.
In my work as a Civil Engineer I have worked on lots of exciting projects that have allowed me to travel all over the world. I worked on the Olympics Main Stadium in London, King Abdullah Sports City in Saudi Arabia and Singapore Sports Hub in Singapore, and now I am working on HS2 in my hometown of Birmingham. I am also an Army Reservist, Royal Engineer Officer and I have been sent to Afghanistan twice as part of this role. In my spare time, I like to swim, cycle and run and I am an “Ironman” Wales finisher – the hardest route in Europe, so I am always very busy!
