Women at HS2; Kate - Design Director

I am the Design Director at HS2. This means that my job is to design all the different parts of our railway including the stations, bridges and public spaces. So, for example, when you visit the new HS2 stations I will have helped design them.
I live here in Birmingham and love it because it’s the centre of England and also the heart of the HS2 rail network. I am married to a vet and live with our two children. We also have lots of animals in our house because of my husband's job. Currently we have lots of sheep, cats, a rabbit and a couple of hedgehogs. I’m also a Beaver-Scout Leader in my spare time.
