Without a track, our new train will have nowhere to go. My job is to work with the team who are in charge of building the track and the lines along which the train will travel. I make sure that the different people who are involved in the project work well together as a team. I travel to work every day by train and I am so proud to be working on the HS2 project. When it opens, I will know that I will have played a part in changing the face of how we travel by rail in the UK – I will probably use the new railway myself!
Before I studied Engineering, I studied music. I play the flute and piano and I can sing opera.
