Women at HS2; Donna - Assistant Commercial Manager
Category: Employee Profile, Women in Construction, Family, hs2, Birmingham, companies, decade, track, dual heritage
The main part of my job is to work with the other companies that will be helping us to build HS2. I make sure that they don’t spend too much and try and work out how much they will spend in the future. We have to make sure that everyone has a fair deal. I was born and raised in Birmingham and I am of dual heritage; my family background in Birmingham can be traced back several decades.
In my spare time I help out at the local Parish Church. I am also the manager of my daughter’s under 16 football team, so this always keeps me fit and healthy.
