Wellbeing Event for WYCA colleagues
Category: Wellbeing (Financial/Mental/Physical)
Last Tuesday, 25 June, Wellington House was abuzz with activity as we hosted a highly successful Wellbeing Event. The event saw an impressive turnout and highlighted the extensive support available to all of us as colleagues.

Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed complimentary massages, which were fully booked, and left the event with free water bottles as a token of appreciation.
The event was hosted by the Human Resources (HR) team, who used this opportunity to showcase several of our family-friendly policies, including Shared Parental Leave and our new Breastfeeding Guidance. Additionally, the event featured information on our West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA) support groups, such as the Mental Health First Aiders and the newly introduced Menopause Champions.
Another highlight was our Wellbeing initiatives, particularly our Headspace subscription, which is available to all colleagues and up to 5 additional family members. This initiative supports mental health and wellbeing, providing access to meditation and mindfulness resources.

A massive thanks goes out to Claire Bird and the HR team for organizing such a successful event. We also extend our gratitude to Leonie Giles from Payroll, who was present to promote employee benefits. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to making this event a success!
Thank you for your continued support in fostering a healthy and supportive workplace.
