It was International Women’s Day on the 8th of March, part of Women’s History Month. This year’s theme is #MakeItHappen, and is encouraging effective action for recognising and advancing women.
Thousands of events will be held throughout the world to inspire women and celebrate achievements.
We are working with gender diversity campaign Opportunity Now to increase women's success at work and create a better gender balance for leadership progression.

Last year we created a new Diversity Council, with the objective of improving diversity across the business and to drive positive change.
We achieved a Gold standard in the Opportunity Now assessment - a benchmark which evaluates companies performance on gender equality.
