Global law firm Reed Smith has been ranked the highest law firm in The Job Crowd’s Top 100 Companies For Graduates to Work For list 2015/2016. A new entry this year, the firm enters in 21st place.
The rankings are based purely on graduate employee feedback covering questions on firm culture, training, work-life balance and career progression.
Reed Smith Human Resources Director, Kevan Skelton, commented:
“We are incredibly proud to enter The Job Crowd rankings at such a great position in our first year of taking part. It is a credit to the open and diverse culture of the firm, as well as the wealth of development and training opportunities.”
Graduate feedback includes:
“Reed Smith values diversity and this is perceivable as soon as you step foot in the office.” (Construction trainee solicitor, Reed Smith)
“The best thing about Reed Smith is the open and friendly culture. The best thing about my job is that it is varied and always changing.” (HR administrator, Reed Smith)
“It also has a collection of very highly regarded niche practice areas, such as Shipping and Media, together with more traditional practices. This allows trainees to get a broad range of experience and the chance to qualify into some very high-level practices.” (Corporate trainee solicitor, Reed Smith)
“In my team there is a lot of collaboration where knowledge sharing and opinions are valued - very refreshing.” (Learning and development officer, Reed Smith)
