Building Trust at Center Parcs: National Inclusion Week 2026
Category: Disability (Learning/Mental/Physical), Neurodiversity
With this year's theme, 'Build Trust. Navigate Change'. The theme recognised that inclusion requires more than intention alone. It requires ongoing action, accountability, and a willingness to keep moving forward, even during periods of uncertainty and change.

At Center Parcs, we recognise the importance of belonging and encourage colleagues to be their authentic selves. Throughout the week, colleagues across the business supported our #MyWholeSelf campaign for the second consecutive year, sharing personal stories, experiences and insights that helped create greater understanding and connection.

Aaron Phipps MBE hosting a virtual event broadcast live from The Venue at Sherwood Forest
As part of the week's activities, we welcomed Aaron Phipps MBE for a virtual event broadcast live from The Venue at Sherwood Forest. Aaron, a Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby athlete, three-time Paralympian, gold medal-winning champion and professional speaker, shared his inspirational personal journey. Following the loss of both of his legs and most of his fingers due to meningitis-related blood poisoning at the age of 15, Aaron demonstrated how resilience, determination and a growth mindset helped him overcome adversity and achieve success on the world stage. Colleagues joined the session from across the business and had the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A following his presentation.

We were also delighted to announce our partnership with NeuroBridge during National Inclusion Week. Earlier this year, our People teams and a number of managers had the opportunity to test and explore The Bridge platform and how it could support our business. During Inclusion Week, we shared plans to roll the platform out more widely across our villages and Forest House.
The Bridge is a digital workplace support platform designed to help colleagues understand how they work best and access practical tools to support wellbeing, focus and productivity. The platform provides information on different neurotypes, offers guidance on workplace adjustments, and includes resources to help managers lead neurodivergent team members with confidence. Importantly, colleagues do not need a diagnosis or formal disclosure to access content, and all activity on the platform remains private to the individual.
National Inclusion Week provided a valuable opportunity to raise awareness, encourage meaningful conversations and reinforce our commitment to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels they belong and can thrive.
