Learning at Work Week in Defence

Learning at Work Week is a national event to build learning cultures at work and put a spotlight on the importance and benefits of continual learning and development.

This year Learning at Work week runs from 13th May to the 19th of May and a week packed with learning opportunities will be held across the MOD, providing a fantastic opportunity for all employees to focus on personal development.

This year's theme is Learning Power! Whether that is the power to grow through learning new knowledge and skills, power to connect by fostering new relationships to build innovation and understand new perspectives or power to engage with what is happening outside your immediate sphere.

Events will be held across defence to support colleagues in getting the basics right and for those well established in an area to develop skills from ‘good to great.’ Session will range from line manager essential training; apprenticeship information and talent scheme sessions to those on volunteering and mindfulness ensuring there is something for all staff to get involved in and provide opportunities for everyone to learn something new.
