Learning at Work week at DIO provides an opportunity to support and promote personal and professional development. This year’s theme is ‘made for learning’ and our capacity to learn which encourages lifelong learning.

As part of our collaboration with colleagues across Defence during Learning at Work week, DIO is offering a programme of online events, covering a variety of subjects, and open to all:

  • DIO mentoring scheme 
  • DIO Strategy 
  • ‘Engineers in the Making’ with Primary Engineer and DIO STEM Network 
  • Inclusive teamworking 
  • ILX (online project learning) 
  • Keeping the Balance - understanding why the brain does what it does trying to keep us safe! 
  • An introduction to Asset Management within Defence infrastructure
  • Social Mobility: what is Social Mobility and why does it matter?
  • Compassionate leadership 

 

 

Learning at Work week is one of the many ways we promote and encourage our people to challenge themselves to be curious, to learn something new about themselves, their colleagues and their organisation, and further support the development of a diverse organisation.
