ITV report record numbers for Pride 2016

The capital is awash with colour as thousands of people marched in this year's Pride in London parade.

This year's event was the largest ever, with people showing their support for the city's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community in the wake of the Orlando shooting.

Many people were also discussing the result of the EU referendum, some describing it as a black day in the history of Europe

Absolutely Fabulous stars Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley were among the leaders of the parade. In a tweet, Saunders had described the Brexit result as 'hideous'.

Nearly 300 groups and 64 floats took part in the parade that started from the top of Regent Street.
