Imagining the future at Aviva

Earlier this month, over 100 innovators joined a hackathon at our HQ. The aim: to imagine future products and services for our customers and clients.
Nine teams, shortlisted from over seventy company-wide ideas, took part in the tech-marathon, building solutions with colleagues they had never worked with before over two days, and then pitching them to senior leaders. Just another example of how we support our people to continuously develop and stretch their learning throughout their careers with us.
The winning team, 50 Shades of Green, presented a user-friendly system that informs and guides our customers to making more sustainable choices, giving them the power to 'dial up the green'.
Commenting on the event, Caitlyn Winsor-Gray, who was part of the winning team, said:
“It's been amazing to work alongside other colleagues from the business I would've probably never met had it not been for the hackathon, and I am extremely grateful for that. To add in the fact we won is even more of an achievement.”
