HS2 marched at Birmingham Pride 2017. Here some of their team share their experiences with us!
“Thank you to everyone who marched to celebrate Pride and show our commitment to our LGBT community. We had a terrific reaction and everyone felt it was a wonderful and positive event, with many wanting to invite family and colleagues to join us next year. Also huge thanks to those colleagues, especially those who joined a steering group to help organise the event.” – Ian

“I had a fabulous day – proud of the company I work for and proud of the LGBT community. I have personal experience of the problems faced by some in the LGBT community as I was co-founder of a ladies football team, and many of the ladies (including my daughter) had faced difficulties around coming to terms with who they were. Pride is a fun weekend, where people can be who they are without judgement.” - Laurie

“I had a fantastic time marching at Pride and was proud to do so with my family as my wife works here too. I had never thought about attending Pride before, but I really enjoyed the march and celebrating our diversity so I will be encouraging members of my team to attend next year.” - Dinesh
