Freedom and Equality Month

Here at VERCIDA we see the value in self-expression and believe everyone should be able to express themselves freely without judgment or discrimination. 

For many people, freedom of expression and equality are core values they seek in a work environment. Everyone wants to feel included and respected, and this month we want to highlight how the things that make us different shouldn’t mean that this is not possible. 

This September, we are highlighting stories of how companies that prioritise equality and encourage freedom of expression can make their employees feel empowered and accepted regardless of their cultural differences, race, religion, age, sex/gender, sexual orientation or disability. 

At VERCIDA we believe everyone should be free to express themselves fully at work, and we are committed to helping people find jobs that ensure equitable opportunities and equal outcomes so that every person can reach their full potential. We believe in people finding jobs that make them feel safe, seen and valued and encouraging and supporting companies to make sure that this can be actualised in the best way possible. 

September highlights how through encouraging freedom of expression and increased equality within the workforce, companies can encourage their employees to bring their best and most authentic selves to work without a sense of worry about facing exclusion or discrimination. 

We also want to highlight the power that can be found in learning each other’s stories, how through understanding others, we can find a sense of empathy and compassion that improves and promotes harmony in the workplace.
