Diversity and inclusion experts VONQ and VERCIDA are holding a free educational webinar, without a sales pitch, to help companies understand how to bring inclusive employment principles into their work.
The hour-long webinar, planned for 10:00 (UTC) on 21 June, will feature useful advice and explanations on how to achieve your company’s diversity goals. That could be recruiting more women, gay employees or members of other minorities.
The session looks at the basic tools companies need to improve their diversity and inclusion efforts. And how to get to grips with those tools. The first part will cover:
What does diversity mean?
Why is diversity increasingly important for good business?
What are the main challenges employers face every day in promoting diversity?
What does best practice look like?
Strategies to implement these perspectives - in particular, where to start.
The second part of the session will be a discussion with an expert panel. This is an opportunity for sharing tips and best practice with members of the VERCIDA team - the UK’s leading inclusive employment consultants and talent acquisition board. They will also be joined by representatives from VONQ - a specialist marketing firm skilled in reaching a hand into online communities to promote job applications and engagement.
Morgan Lobb, Founder and CEO from VERCIDA explained, “Diversity and inclusion are on the agenda of every company we talk to. People want to have more representation. The problem is they have a lot of trouble finding out where to start meeting that objective. We’re holding this webinar to share what we already know can make firms a success.”
Stanislaw Wasowicz, Global Business Development Manager at VONQ explained, “Right now, we’re not fully benefiting from what society has to offer us. That’s as both a talent acquisition community, and an employee community. Bringing large enterprises together to find the best ways to increase diversity isn’t just a positive trend for our industry but for our society as a whole.”
