I am the Development Administrator, supporting the various development teams including Coach Education, Facilities, and Officials with administrative tasks. This role involves a lot of multi-tasking, but I thoroughly enjoy working with the different teams and the variety of tasks within the role. I am relatively new to the inclusion team and so Blue Monday Survival Kit has been the first piece I have worked on. We had great fun thinking up of ideas which help boost our mood before selecting our favourites.
Inclusion means to me supporting each other and listening to everyone’s voice. Our organisation has a lot of individuals with different personalities, backgrounds, and beliefs. Therefore, we all have different needs and is important that everyone has their voice and feels supported. We are stronger as one but our differences should always be celebrated and understood. The last year has been a struggle with the pandemic throwing up multiply challenges. So the inclusion agenda is even more important now than ever.
