Sky News Editorial Work Experience - Diversity Scheme (July - December 2014)
For 25 years Sky News has built its reputation on being first at bringing our viewers the very best news and analysis.
This is your chance to spend time amongst one of the most talented teams in the news industry, experiencing what it’s like to work in a fast paced multi-platform news environment.
Sky News has an ongoing commitment to improve the diversity of our organisation to better reflect our audience; therefore we will be welcoming applications from people whose backgrounds are currently under represented at Sky News. You must be able to demonstrate a passion for journalism and be from a Black, Asian or other Ethnic Minority group, or from an economically disadvantaged background. Please refer to our FAQs for further information.
Our work experience lasts for a maximum of 3 weeks and is unpaid. If successful, you will receive £15 a day expenses and be responsible for your own travel and accommodation. However we are able to offer a limited number of bursary placements to candidates from economically disadvantaged backgrounds that would normally be unable to take up a placement for financial reasons.
VERCIDA works with over one hundred clients who are committed to creating an inclusive work
environment. If you are an employer and interested in working with VERCIDA to promote your
diversity and inclusion initiatives and attract the best candidates, please email
