How do you start your working day – what’s your routine?

Logging into my workstation and checking emails for any important procedure updates or changes to scheduling.

What do you do during the course of a typical day?

Booking schedules for Authorised Test Facilities (ATF) across the country to ensure all are covered by DVSA staff and other general enquiries can include: 

• Business customers incoming calls.
• ATF owners and operators
• Amending confirmations of bookings
• Respond to customer email enquiries.
• Sending test booking/amendment confirmations
• Covering short notice absence

What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?

Ensuring customer satisfaction. Taking on additional roles or tasks to further my development, and having a varied role Friendly working atmosphere.

What’s the most challenging part of your job?

Not being able to resolve and issue at first point of contact.

How do you make a difference to road safety?

Enforcing the laws/procedures when managing tests schedules for customers, ensuring customers are given accurate and current information.
