Who are Code First Girls?

Code First Girls has become one of the largest providers of free coding courses for women globally, having delivered over £75 million worth of free technology education and teaching three times as many women to code as the entire UK university undergraduate system!

Code First Girls are on a mission to close the gender gap in the tech industry. They have already helped more than 200,000 women learn to code and by working with companies globally, they are boosting employability, diversity and social mobility, transforming local economies and communities.

What are we delivering?

Eko has collaborated with Code First Girls in one of their Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) – Intro to Data, which is aimed at women aged 16+, and consists of Sprints and Challenges. Both are 100% free and great for beginners or anyone that fancies a little refresher or upskill moment! Learn the principles of key tech topics with our MOOC Sprints and test your knowledge with our Challenges.

Our Intro to Data MOOC is now live and accepting applications! Opening session will begin on Monday 17th February at 5pm.
