Celebrating the people who make Center Parcs magical for every guest.
Creating inclusive, supportive experiences for children and families with additional needs is something our team members do every day. Neurodiversity Celebration Week gives us a moment to recognise the impact they make all year round.
During our recent World Employee Appreciation Day, team members shared moments where their empathy, care and understanding truly made a difference:
Lorraine, Front of House at The Dozing Duck, Sherwood Forest, fondly remembers meeting a young guest who was non-verbal and was nervous about starting school. After Lorraine chatted to her about her amazing boots, she said her very first word – a powerful moment that the family will never forget.
Sherrie, Guest Services Shift Manager at Woburn Forest, recognised the need for a calm, one-to-one owl encounter for a guest who benefited from a quieter, more relaxed experience. She’s also seen how small gestures of kindness can have a lasting impact during difficult moments.
These stories put our team members at the heart of what makes Center Parcs special – caring deeply, embracing individuality, and helping us build better worlds for our guests and their families.
And when it comes to supporting our colleagues, we’re proud to be partnering with NeuroBridge – a platform designed to support neurodiversity and inclusion in the workplace. We can’t wait to share more as this progresses.
