Military Network at Skanska

Skanska welcomes people with a military background. We will support your transition to civilian life while helping you to build a structured career path.

Working in partnership
Having signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant, Skanska has been actively working with the military and its related charities, such as the Career Transition Partnership (CTP), to help individuals who have left the forces find a career that allows them to apply the knowledge, skills and experience gained in the military, to the construction industry.

Our work in this area was recognised by the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme in 2017 where Skanska received a gold award.

Jobs for former military
We welcome applications from ex-servicemen and ex-servicewomen and other former military personnel, offering tailored support where needed as part of the transition to a new working environment.

We make a positive difference to society. With our broad range of roles and your skills and experience, you can too.

Military Network

This network supports veterans, reservists and spouses/partners as well as championing Skanska in becoming an employer of choice for ex-armed forces personnel and their families. Our networks support an inclusive culture by educating the business about transferable skills and supporting the individual development needs of employees.
