Five Simple Steps

Step 1: The Screening Stage

Not to be confused with medical screening. At this stage, you will engage in a telephone interview with the recruiter. It is more like an introductory session, where the recruiter will want to learn more about you and your personality. You will also be given more information about the role. So, don’t be shy and feel free to ask as many questions as you like.

Step 2: Face-to-face or Telephone interview

This stage of the interview is slightly more formal than the screening process. Here, you have to speak with the Hiring Manager. They will go slightly deeper to get an idea about why you are applying for this particular role and the transferable skills that you could bring to it. This step is considered as the best opportunity to make an impact. You need to showcase your personality and zeal for life to the Hiring Manager. This is your chance to impress them with your passion and drive.

Step 3: A Structured Interview followed by a case study or presentation

The 3^rd step is slightly challenging because here, they will want to learn more about your skills. This is why, you will be asked to either prepare a presentation or the interviewer will set a particular case study on the day. At this stage, you need to take into account the feedback you gained from the 2nd step. Besides remaining confident, you also need to retain your own personality as that can help you to pass the structured interview successfully.

Step 4: Meeting and greeting

In certain cases, you may be invited to have a meeting with the rest of the team. You will also get an opportunity to not just meet, but impress the senior stakeholders.

 Step 5: Hurrah! The Offer is Here

Once you successfully crack the interview process and impress the team members and stakeholders, you will be sent the offer letter.
